Pomegranates are in season in December and it's the perfect time to enjoy this antioxidant-filled fruit. You can buy the little seeds or arils already separated from the fruit or buy the whole fruit and take them out yourself. All you do is cut around the outside of the fruit like an orange, place the piecesin water and watch the arils float to the top.

What about parsley or just leave it out?

You could maybe try basil??? Start with less though and add more. It would totally change the flavor profile though.

If you wanted just a little color you could do parsley.... but cilantro is one of the key flavors so I can’t promise it would taste the same.
