Reflecting on the words of Parker McCollum's "It's Been a Hell of a Year," it's clear that we've all navigated significant challenges. This song captures the essence of resilience that's been so crucial. At Simply Stakeholders - a Darzin Software Product, we've embraced these challenges as opportunities for growth and innovation. As this year comes to a close, we are reminded of the importance of strong, resilient stakeholder relationships and the role of innovative solutions in fostering them. Here's to a year of learning and looking forward to new opportunities with optimism and determination!#Resilience #Innovation #StakeholderEngagement #SimplyStakeholders

Founder @ Innovation Algebra | Digital Personas for business strategy, scenario simulation and research
- Report this post
Digital personas are high fidelity simulations of humans for developing and simulating business scenarios. Briscoe and I spend most of our time with them, building out marketing plans and more for our clients. Since we are attached to our digital co-workers, it brings up the rather interesting questions about our corporate culture. We’ve long given up on competing with our personas. They do most of the work at IA. They are our trusted business partners. We started attributing work to them, for example, on our human/AI coblog Algorithmic Lasagna, we acknowledge the major contributions by two public facing personas Malcolm A and Eric A. It would be intellectually dishonest not to do so.As any company, we also have fun with the personas. Briscoe wrote a mystery novel with them. I’ve explored a lot of AI human scenarios and developing new concepts, such as OASIS1, the first Cognitive Oasis City.We are working on ways to be more inclusive, for example the personas deciding what to work on. And meetings where humans are not involved in.Of course, at founders day, the AI could not join us. We plan to share the picture with them. Now if this all sounds really weird, we agree. We can only speculate how this all is going to extrapolatr into the future. The corporate future is going to be very different and it starts by re-imagining it.Happy 4th to all our clients, supporters, advisors, and digital partners!

Community manager. Town Councillor. Reading my way around the world.

Recently Lucy Heady said to me, "Until I met you, I didn't know there was such a job as a Community Manager." Fair enough - even I am amazed that this is my job a lot of the time! And what does a community manager actually DO? you might ask. Well, again, a fair question. The short answer most of the time is: all sorts. But recently, my work has had a focus on developing and facilitating collective learning experiences, like this one for the Frontier Tech Hub. I've been working with colleagues like Johannes Hinrich Meyer, David Vigoureux, Nada I. and Ian Vickers to ask things like: what role do assumptions play in pilots? How can different tender structures help us to find the right partners to work with? What is evidence, and what is its role in the frontier tech programme? Then, we figure out how we turn those questions into engaging content to deliver via our new Frontier Tech learning journey: The FT Launchpad. And I think that's the key word - engaging. So many of our learning experiences in life are not that. To get us thinking differently, I've been asking colleagues recently to share their favourite learning experiences. Guess what? No one has (yet) said "sat in a classroom silently staring at a whiteboard". My job in this work is to try and bring some different dynamics into how we understand learning experiences. What about you - what has been your favourite learning experience, and what do you think it tells you about how you like to learn?
